The texture of this design runs deep, raising pronounced twisting waves in the sand. The tessellating organic pattern lives in that space between order and chaos; streamlined elegant twirls suggesting the choppy waves of the sea during a storm.

There are lots of ways to play. You can experiment with various motions. You can roll, stamp, twist and twirl. See what happens. Keep your hand in contact with the sphere for best pattern transfer.

  • Avoid knocking spheres into each other. No Bocci!
  • Scraping or knocking the spheres can chip and degrade the surface.
  • Play Gently :)

Usage Tips

Remember to give your spheres/wonks a couple taps against your palm before removing them from your wonderscape to avoid sand grains getting loose.

If your texture makers get a little smudged, sticky or dirty, they can be gently scrubbed under running water with a sponge or nylon brush; no cleaners are necessary. Allow sculptures time to fully dry before placing them back in the sand.
